JevDesk on X
A Launch button under every post. Press it and JevDesk opens with that post already read: Jev scores it, names the coin, and the launch goes the way it always does — from your wallet, on this site.
What it does
- Reads the address of the post its button is in.
- Opens jevdesk.com in a new tab with that address.
- Runs on x.com and twitter.com, and nowhere else.
What it never does
- Hold a key, a seed or a wallet of any kind.
- Sign or send anything, on chain or off it.
- Talk to JevDesk, or to anyone else, in the background.
- Read your posts, your messages, your followers or your account.
- Collect, store or send any data about you. There is no server behind it and no analytics in it.
Why it works this way
JevDesk turns away every request that does not come from one of its own pages. An extension could be let through by weakening that, and it is a check worth keeping: it is what stops another site launching coins with your wallet. So the extension does not talk to JevDesk at all. It takes you to the page, where your wallet and your session already are.
This is also why it holds no keys. A key in a browser extension is a key in the riskiest place it could be. Yours stay in your wallet.
Privacy
The extension collects no data. Nothing is stored, nothing is sent anywhere, and there is no account behind it. The only thing that ever leaves your browser is the address of a post you pressed the button on, and it leaves it the way any link does: in the address of the tab it opens.
What happens after that is the site, and the site is plain about itself too: it reads the posts of the accounts you choose to watch, and it never holds your keys.
Paste any post into Ask Jev and the same thing happens.
